GATESHEAD, UK – 13 August 2026 – Boomerang Healthcare welcomed service users to an inclusive mocktail-making session at The Boomerang Academy in Felling, with support from Boomerang Healthcare’s Care Support Staff and Gateshead Council’s Learning and Skills Team.
The engaging session provided service users with the opportunity to learn how to prepare, mix and serve a selection of colourful alcohol-free cocktails in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
Participants were encouraged to take an active role throughout the activity, from selecting ingredients and following instructions to mixing their drinks and adding their own creative touches. Afterwards, everyone had the opportunity to relax and enjoy their mocktails alongside a buffet and a selection of cakes.
Olly the Dog also joined the event, adding to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere and becoming part of the day’s activities.
