Boomerang Healthcare has been involved with the care of a complex individual who has been subject to a Sec.42 safeguarding enquiry for Gateshead Council. Throughout this time both staff and management have assisted in the safeguarding of the individual.
Due to concerns relating to exploitation a partial closure order was applied to the property, both staff and management have been reporting all issues or concerns in a timely manner, this has allowed partner agencies to have up to date intelligence on the situation at the property.
It has greatly assisted in the safeguarding of the individual; on request they were also able to increase the visits to the property to ensure that other aspects of the individual’s care were maintained.
This alongside their attendance at the safeguarding meetings has been invaluable to this case.
